Fox School of Business, Temple University - T Update

The Fox School of Business at Temple University has redefined graduate business education through the development of the Fox MBA and the Fox Professional MBA.

The Fox MBA is a full-time, two year, cohort program and The Fox Professional MBA provides management education to working professionals on a part-time basis. Both programs prepare individuals to assume leadership roles in corporations, as well as in governmental and non-governmental organizations which also require business management skills.

The Fox School also offers specialized Masters Degrees which provide an educational experience with a more concentrated scope in a specific business discipline. The hallmarks of the Fox School’s commitment to graduating dynamic, qualified and skilled students are its focus on four fundamental principles located to the left. These principles are reflected in the content and delivery of your graduate business education.

Integrated Curriculum

Students experience a rigorous introduction to management perspectives in the key disciplines on which business decisions are made. These core courses cover disciplines such as accounting, finance, marketing, operations management, management information systems and economics. The instructional approach to these courses involves presenting a common set of issues, problems or circumstances which are addressed across the courses, making use of the case study method

Real World Learning

The cornerstone of experiential learning in the Fox MBA and Professional MBA is our Enterprise Management Consulting Practicum or EMC Practicum. This six credit course enables students to deliver professional level consulting services to companies and organizations throughout the Northeast business corridor of the US. Guided by faculty mentors, students experience the demands of starting a new venture, developing a new product or entering a new market.

The realities of business management are demonstrated through the many corporate and governmental speakers who address our students in the classroom as well as through networking events organized by the Fox School’s Graduate Career Management Center. Also, faculty and administration ensure that students are informed of the wealth of speaker engagements open to our students from such organizations as the World Affairs Council, International Chambers of Commerce and professional organizations such as the American Marketing Association and the Society for Human Resources Management.

Personalized Service

Throughout a student’s experience at the Fox School of Business, specific attention is paid to those services which will ensure his or her success. Academic and career advisors help plan their educational experience and develop a strategy for managing their career, through a personalized Leadership Development Program. Faculty and business mentors help students understand how the theory of the classroom applies to the reality of the work place.

Return on Investment: Temple University, The Fox School’s parent institution, is affiliated with the State of Pennsylvania. Because of this state relationship, tuition costs are quite reasonable when compared to many other institutions.

At current tuition rates, in-state students can expect to pay about $27,500 USD for a Fox MBA degree , while out-of-state and international students can expect to pay $40,500 USD in tuition for the entire degree program. Tuition for Specialized Masters Degree programs can range from $15,000 to $25,000 for Pennsylvania Residents and $22,000 to $36,000 for non-Pennsylvania residents, depending upon the number of pre-requisite courses needed to complete the program.
