Florida MBA faculty members possess exceptional credentials and are recognized by their peers and industry leaders for contributions in various areas of expertise.

Academic Excellence

Our faculty have been honored with national awards for research and teaching in accounting, finance, marketing, management, economics, insurance and real estate. MBA faculty members serve as editors of major scholarly journals in marketing, finance, accounting, management and business law. They also direct the school's thirteen research centers, which explore emerging trends in economics, consumer research, decision sciences, entrepreneurship, insurance, human resources, public utilities, real estate and retailing. Members of Florida's MBA faculty are not only leading researchers but also first-rate teachers. Many have been honored for their teaching as Fulbright Scholars or served as visiting professors at other prestigious institutions.

Florida's Outstanding Faculty

Faculty of the Warrington College of Business Administration are widely recognized as leaders in their respective fields.

UF marketing professors have been granted the Marketing Science Institute/H. Paul Root Award for most impactful article published in the Journal of Marketing in 1999 and 1997.

Finance faculty were ranked Number One in the Journal of Finance for Highest Number of Authors in 1997 and, in 1998, ranked in the Top 20 in Total Influence in the topic areas of Corporate Finance and Financial Institutions.

Economics professor Sanford Berg was named the 1999 University of Florida Teacher/Scholar of the year, the university's highest, singular academic honor.

Business law and management faculty have won the Holmes-Cordozo prize for Best Article, Academy of Legal Studies in Business seven times since 1991.
