Birmingham MBA in International Business - JTT

Course Overview

This is our largest programme and offers the opportunity to work with practising managers from all over the world. Currently students from 55 countries are taking our MBA programmes.

The general MBA has International Business and Global Markets as its main focus. It is accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) the recognised UK accrediting body. This accreditation covers both the full-time and part-time study modes (including programmes delivered in Singapore, Hong Kong and Mauritius). Only some 35 business schools in the UK have accredited programmes out of the 100+ MBA providers.

Flexibility is a hallmark of the Birmingham MBA. Study can be full-time, or part-time, either by evening study or in intensive one-week blocks, or both, as best suits the needs of the individual student. The full-time programme takes one year and a Preliminary Year is also available for those not qualified for direct entry. The part-time programmes take between two and four years to complete depending on the amount of time the individual students is able to commit to study.

The programmes are suitable for experienced managers working in private and public enterprises who wish to develop and broaden their managerial and financial competence, and also for graduates with a scientific or engineering background who have gained recent management experience and feel their careers would benefit from advanced management training.
