In the Merage Health Care Executive MBA program, you will join top-tier peers from the pharmaceuticals, medical devices, managed care, insurance, health care services, and health care policy industries, many of whom have advanced or doctoral degrees. You will gain the fundamentals of business management and a thorough understanding of the economic, political, and social dynamics that have reshaped the global healthcare industry.

The course of study is structured to enable you to progress logically through course material and expose you to a full range of business disciplines utilizing a variety of elements: case studies, lectures, distinguished speakers, team projects. Your team members and other classmates will be an integral part of your learning experience. HCEMBA students, Merage School faculty and its special lecturers regularly cite the quality of group and class discussions, and team projects as key strengths of this program.

HCEMBA is a 24-month program that begins once each year in the fall. Classes meet only one long weekend each month, from Thursday evening through Sunday noon. This convenient schedule broadens the diversity of the class – allowing doctors to maintain call schedules and others to travel from both national and international locations.

The School has established a Health Care Management and Policy Center of Excellence that provides you with additional opportunities for study and research. You may also participate in its other five Centers dedicated to these specialties: Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Leadership Development; Real Estate; Investment and Wealth Management and Informational Technology and Organizations.

To further enhance your HCEMBA experience, the School offers a number of networking opportunities in specific functional areas including medical and biotechnology, consulting, entrepreneurship, financial management, information technology, international business, marketing and strategy and real estate. Join one of the more than 12 clubs and associations and forge lasting connections.
