TccP - Executive Education at UC, Irvine

Executive Education is the continuing education component of the educational mission of the UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business. The intent is to provide on-going management education to leaders in organizations faced with complex problems in rapidly changing, multi-cultural, technological, and competitive environments.

The approach is to design a unique program of study around the needs of an industry, like Health Care, or the needs of a specific company. The coursework presents to the participants with crucial, up-to-the-minute information needed in today's fast-paced work environment. In addition, clear application of the material to address current managing issues is an important part of Executive Education program design. Thus assessing industry or organizational requirements is an important principle underlying the approach to continuing education. Executive Education involves national experts in their fields, known practitioners, and most importantly, the distinguished Paul Merage School of Business faculty who bring the participants into the forefront of their industries by presenting the most recent research and information available.

Approach to Executive Education

Paul Merage School of Business' Executive Education programs are designed as effective learning experiences providing specific tools to promoting positive change and improved performance of individuals and organizations. The School is able to capitalize on its extensive experience in its Executive MBA programs and apply that experience to non-degree Executive Education programs. The Paul Merage School of Business and Executive Education are firmly committed to:

  • Building Partnerships With The Corporate Community
  • Continuing Management Education
  • Recognizing The Unique Needs Of Each Organization
  • Utilizing Research To Improve Management Practice

Our efforts and design principles are on creating programs that will effectively accomplish the learning objectives we mutually agree upon. Programs are evaluated, modified, changed, and updated to insure the most effective design and to incorporate the most current information.
